.. that they did not see an increase in their customer's inventories. However a one-week spike should be attributable to something. I would expect acceleration of the applications sales may be as the Pentium etc. systems, with extra trimmings, are good enough to handle them. And concentration in a single week in August might correlate to College course work - I can't come up with a better idea. -- renewed confidence in Mac fostered by Jobs & co? --. Or maybe BG hired a team of 5000 programmers to produce a MS feeble-minded photoshop clone. :) Are any of you here familiar with the Wintel side of things? My main problem with doing anything paint-related was the mouse. Do gamepad controllers, or the PS/2 mouse, etc solve that problem for the PC to smooth out the action? Greg
