Clearly, the Christian religion differs from this interpretation in that Jesus is regarded as the Messiah, which the Jewish religion does not, and therefore the Promised Land has presumably been "given" to those descendants of Abraham who have been circumcised. Thus the State of Israel might suit the beliefs of the Christians but in terms of the Jewish religion it is not permitted.

Excuse me. Please explain how is it exactly that the "State of Israel" suits Christians?
