The banishment from the Promised Land was intended as a punishment not a vacation on the French Riviera or in Miami. And it wasn't passive either, the Jews were instructed to follow many laws and behave in a certain way --- and only then, IF they did what they had to, the Almighty in His wisdom MIGHT decide to redeem them.

Forgive my being blunt, but you have wrought more confusion.

First of all, the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Christ the Lord will most assuredly redeem anyone (including Jews) who believe upon Him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10.13)

Just don't presume that the Jews are saved in a different sort of manner than everyone else. All men must come through Jesus Christ to be redeemed.

The Jews cannot be saved by adherence to the old Mosaic Law, which has been done away with, having been supplanted by the New Covenant.
