Last Friday my wife and I won $1266 at Casino Rama. First time there, maybe the last, too. I worked out the math and the casino has the advantage over the long run.

About the January calls, the premium is quite high due to the value derived from the time factor. I might spread out 20 calls over 3 months. This lowers the individual call and makes it easier to sell in a tight market. I also own 3,000 shares and I might write some calls with a real high premium for January and see if I gets some bites.

It seems that I am paying really high commission for the stock that I have traded in the past. I checked out ACCUTRADE on the net and the commission is about 13% as compared to mine. I just paid $660 commission for selling some AMD and the ACCUTRADE would just have charged me $88. Anyone heard of this company?

What percent are people paying? On common stock I average 1.9% to buy and to sell. Totals about 4% in and out.
