I think the Verdi and competing technologies could find a large market in laser TV. Semiconductor lasers are capable of Watt level output in the red. Verdi and other DPSS freq. doubled green lasers can handle the same energy levels in the green. The blue could come from GaN diode lasers or a similar DPSS frequency doubled technology.

The costs will have to come way down for huge volumes, but even today you can sell some laser TVs for $500,000
