Guess that's an admission I was right on target:

Of course, you're speaking theoretically - you can't be proud of America today because you think America today is a nation which tortures people as a matter of policy, is a war-mongerer which invades countries for economic domination and personal gain, is one of the worst violators of human rights in the world - comparable to Saddam, Hitler, Stalin and any other famous tyrant you can name.

I suspect the only time you could have been proud of America was all the way back in the WWII era when we were briefly allied with the USSR and the Chinese and Viet communists against a common enemy.
