Not wild about Klimt, but that painting is neat. I like the color and composition, and use of symbols. To call it a painting isn't quite accurate, I read somewhere that he applied gold and silverleaf to achieve that lustrous tone. Nope, never been to Ireland. Made plans once in the 70s and again in the 80s, but other stuff intervened both times. People I know who are from there tell me I better get there soon if I want to see anything resembling the old country, things are changing fast. I understand Cork is a vibrant cultural center these days. Probably a better place to hang out than Kilkenny. :)
