I'm neither racist nor populist. Even if I actually had views like "we should shut down the border", or "kick out all the illegals" it wouldn't be solid evidence that I was a racist or a populist. You jump to conclusions about my views, and then you twist those imagined views in to racism. On top of that even the actual racists are mostly not calling for a war with Mexico. Even if we fully militarized the border, and tried to kick out all illegals (again something only a small minority would support), it would be very unlikely to lead to war with Mexico. There almost no sentiment for war in either country.
