SDI/Star Wars has never had a successful test. You should correct your erroneous post on the Rightwing thread. SDI in fact has been a huge waste of money.

My friend is the head of the laser physics department at a major university. I asked him about it and he said they have "nothing" and can't make any of it work. That is after investments of about 50 billion. Rumsfield is a close crony of the companies which benefit from this wasteful spending.
