Buddy, In many cases, an inheritance is passed on to family members that have contributed to the success of the business that has caused the wealth. They should not be taxed again. They usually have received fairly good salaries, and have paid a lot of income tax on their own.

For the most part, those that bleed as much from the government dole as possible, have never worked, never paid any income tax, and they even get refunds for doing nothing. The drug dealers, hoodlums, robbers, etc. are some of those people and don't deserve anything but a cell in prison.

Anyone that wins the lottery is taxed to the hilt, just as anyone who wins something on a quiz show. There are IRS agents behind the curtains of such shows, and they take their pound of flesh the moment the prize is given to the contestant.

All left wing, Democrats should be very familiar with marrying wealth. John Kerry is a pro at that tactic.

It is a pity that the American sports fans will condone such high salaries, and bonuses, for ignorant, indecent types of people just because they can jump high, or catch a ball.

If "new money" is earned, I am all for it, but do not consider being made a billionaire just because one can play a game, is a waste of money. The only thing good about that, is that a lot of that money is going to pay for needles in their arms, which ultimately kills them at an early age. That's fine with me, and is why I never watch a professional sport as I used to enjoy doing. They aren't games any more. They are business of the worst kind. Those that attend professional games are actually paying for those salaries with the riding costs of the tickets, but they flock to the arenas like the blood thirsty Romans in the age of the Empire.
