Civil Disobedience is appropriate under conditions where the system refuses to consider them, as in the case of the American Revolution, the Civil Rights era and so forth.

I don't agree with Civil Disobedience when the system has already bent over backwards to accommodate all views. The environmentalists have pushed the system to the limit to further their agenda because they know the system will kowtow to them and give them the power they didn't earn at the ballot box.

The woman who fell out of the tree fell out as a direct result of her decision to climb it in the first place, and therefore she is solely responsible for her own death.
