My feeling is that even discussing the subject in this manner (ie relating a withdrawal to a TIME PERIOD rather then an OBJECTIVE) is not only STUPID but aiding and abetting the enemy. Can you imagin how comfy Hitler and Tojo would have felt if we had said, we will give it 5 years then we're out of here no matter what? jdn
