That's probably because you don't have any idea what feminism is.

First and foremost, it means that women aren't adjuncts to men, they're volitional individuals in their own right, with civil rights and civil responsibilities.

It means, at a minimum, that women have the right to be educated, to work, to vote, and the obligation to not dress or behave like sex objects. I don't think that message is getting through.
