I find rap music appalling for the most part, not to mention boring. The denigration of women is amazing.

I've heard it in stores in the mall like Guess! or such places where they insist on loud music banging in your ears.
I've literally been stunned by some of the lyrics.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton types would actually be doing something positive if they took on this issue, but don't hold your breath.

It would be incredible if the anti-woman themes of rap music didn't have on effect both on young black women's willingness to be treated as sex objects and their male partners' unwillingness to accept responsibility for ensuing pregnancies.
