Rove told the GOP congress to side with Bush on the war and not apologize. IMHO this is a huge mistake. Bush-cheney's war policy is riddled with all kinds of failures, deceits and just plain wrong-headed action. Most Americans are very happy with Bush-Cheney on the war and do not want to stay the cource. Also news in Iraq is likely to be bad through to November. And no more Zarqawi's to kill there. Democrats should be able to take back both houses of congress now. The one problem I worry about is whether Rove's minions have rigged enough voting machines to fix the entire election. Wouldn't put it past them. This is a very unethical bunch who will do anything to hold onto power.
