Everyone wants to start at the top and doesn't want to work their way up the ladder. Oh, yeah, of course! Why didn't I think of that? That's the explanation as to why women aren't making more than token advances. They just want to start at the top! Um . . . could it possibly be that your mental image of pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps sort of glosses over the advantages you were given?
