I think it depends on the individual's perceptions. What you see on the Left Coast, or JohnM in the ivory towers of the Northeast is probably different than what I come across in VA.

But as you know I still belong to the VWAA after all these years. We used to do pretty good getting women on the bench but not lately. Among many lawyers, male and female, having a women's bar association is considered an affront of some kind.
