As I've said, there was a pattern of distortion and deception by the Bush administration and the Bush campaign. It covered a number of issues, not just WMDs. And by the way, statements made in 1998 aren't really proof of anything, nor are out of context statements from 2002 by people who had themselves been deceived by the Bush Administration.

What's more relevant is the statements by the U.N. inspectors who were on the ground in Iraq in late 2002 and early 2003. But those are notably absent from Jake's collection.
