If military personnel break from that idea, they are opening a can of worms that is very dangerous. Not the least of the dangers comes from this administration's penchant for already ignoring "inconvenient" laws whenever it suits them, and one will likely really enter onto a slippery slope by playing their game of breaking well established laws. You cannot win against such people by playing on their turf this way.
