I didn't read the entire license agreement, but did search for terms like "termination" and "competition", without finding language that says Pfizer will not compete in the general area of hypnotic or somniferic.

Can you suggest another search? Maybe something like "best effort" or "exclusive"? Or you could look at the 10-K on EDGAR and tell us what you find. The license agreement for Indiplon is attached to the 10-K for 2002.
