Appreciate those comments Euterpe. I think we are all some mutant form of political life, especially compared to what one might see on many blogs, or in the MSM for that matter. And that includes left, right and in the middle, if there is such a thing.
The paper than Santorum has had been so heavily censored that of course, it makes no sense to the average person viewing in the windows....There are arguments today to get the papers to be less censored so we can see exactly what is, and has been, the situation.
The thought that these censored papers are correct, is even stronger for me, as they haven't been "leaked" by anyone as yet....and heaven only knows, they would already have been if some of the 'know-it-alls' had thought there was anything politically to gain over the Administration. Perversely, that leads me to think there is more to the story than we know now.
But what we know so far, as of today, is that many in the media and on the 'protesting anything' lines is that many kept (and continue) saying "Bush Lied", etc.
The same folks who espouse that idea, are decidedly quiet today when it turns out there were WMD found in Iraq that Saddam DID NOT declare to the UN, and DID NOT get rid of.....
and evidently many more containers of deadly chemicals were found than it took for him to gas all the 5,000+ Kurds that he did in the 1990's....
Another thing to think about is that if we hadn't gone into Iraq, and continued to allow Saddam to fund the murdering barbarians, those same folks today would have control of the 2nd largest oil fields in the world, and would have the complete funding needed to cause terrorism of major scale anyplace in the world. |
