PRESBYTERIANS CAVE TO ISRAEL LOBBY UPI - The Presbyterian Church (USA) has passed a resolution apologizing for the pain caused by a decision two years ago on Israel and Palestine. The General Assembly voted two years ago to divest from companies profiting from Israel's occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. The new resolution says divestment should be a last resort and the church should work for reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians, The New York Times reported. . .
