The ones that want a peaceful and prosperous future. Why is that so hard for you to understand? If you will kill folks who don't think your way whether you are shia, kurd or sunni, you are one of the bad guys that must be jailed, killed or scared straight. "BOTH Sunni AND Shi'a are killing people extra-legally now...." This might help you understand. In your example above both sunni and shia are on the WRONG side, regardless of what religion you are. It is not based on what religion they are. It is based on whether you can peacefully co-exist with your neighbors. "Southern Iraq is increasingly in the hands of fundamentalist Shi'a, and is effectively run by Shi'a militias... while the Sunnis in the central and western areas are increasingly radicalized and fundamentalist" The new gov't with the help of the Americans (and coalitin partners) must solve this. Would be great if some other countries would help us out. You think they cannot (hence my pessimism charge) and that this is how it will and should settle out. If the good guys win, you could travel and live freely throughout the country.
