did you notice nytimes had the arrest of terrors in florida yesterday on page 22... I'm trying to take the War on Terror seriously, really I am. But: * When they arrest seven guys with no explosives, no funding, and who haven't even spoken to a real member of Al Queda, for trying to blow up the Sears tower... * When we find guys trying to dismantle the Brooklyn Bridge with a blow torch... * When we have a guy with a Maxwell Smart shoe bomb, but no lighter... * When 19 Saudis do real damage, so we invade Iraq... * When the FBI now says they have no evidence that Osama was involved with 911... At this point, any sentient being has to be wondering, what the heck is all this about? And when, exactly, did we rugged individualist frontier he-men Americans decide that we need to whimper and wet ourselves everytime some color coded alert goes to orange? I'm about tired of it, myself.
