I don't disagree with you, Shiloh. I think Lincoln should have been impeached for suspending habeas corpus. I don't trust the gov't either, but I also don't know what I'd do if I were in the Bush's shoes. Where to draw the line between personal privacy and the need for intelligence is not an easy thing to decide.
