Religion is the panacea of the masses.. The opiate for those who are afraid.. It permeates the brain much like brain washing and the administers of it are eloquent in their persuasion... The fanaticism that results is controlled by the receptivity of those who listen and the person who is the speaker...the clergy, the mullahs... etc. There is always someone. The results takes shape if all manifestations and we are the recipients of that form in the terrorists who are willing to kill themselves for those 13 virgins. There always has to be a promise.. In Christianity it is heaven.. That is the convincing tool... don't be upset by life here on earth for something better awaits you. How does anyone dispel this thinking... To me it's all madness. It's the great joke perpetrated on every human being who stops thinking for himself..and hands his life over to someone else to tell him what to do. MADNESS... in my opinion only.
