it took only a killed Archduke to actually start the war. I don't disagree that it doesn't necessarily take much to trigger a war. But that is irrelevant to the fact that it takes a lot of resources to prosecute one. OBL himself could and probably does fund AQ....to say nothing of several other countries who have oil proceeds and no one to account to for their expenditures...... Wherewithal isn't only money. It doesn't matter how much money you have if you don't have a workable plan, skills, armaments, a delivery system for your armaments, etc. I won't argue that AQ doesn't have enough money. But I seriously doubt they have the rest. Which means they don't have the wherewithal to prosecute a foreign war.
