Geac SmartStream(TM) Builds On Asia-Pacific Successes

ATLANTA, GEORGIA--

Recent sales to major organizations throughout the Asia-Pacific
region validate Geac's global presence, international
functionality, and target industries

The New Zealand Department for Courts' recent decision to
purchase the SmartStream Financial software suite is one of the
latest in a series of large sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
Other new customers include Bank Danamon of Indonesia, the Royal
Australian Air Force, and the International Broadcasting
Corporation of Thailand.

"These recent successes throughout the Asia-Pacific region
validate the strength of Geac's corporate commitment to these
geographical markets and to strong product functionality," says
Harvey Coleman, executive vice president of Geac with particular
responsibility for Asia-Pacific. "As Geac continues to expand its
presence in its various worldwide locations, the real
beneficiaries are SmartStream customers. By partnering with Geac,
our customers not only have immediate access to local senior
management teams who are empowered to make decisions locally based
on what is best for their customers, but also the support of a
large corporation that is dedicated to meeting its customers'
global needs."

According to Leong Yew Poh, general manager of Geac's Asian
operation and 12-year head of Geac's Singapore office,
"Leading-edge architecture, embedded workflow, rapid
implementation and multiple currency handling capabilities are
standard requirements for all progressive organizations, whether
they're located in Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles or London. Geac
SmartStream stands alone in its ability to meet all of these
product requirements and demonstrate its strong history of
understanding of what it takes to provide time-tested business
solutions for Asian firms."

Recent Successes Reflect a Long-Standing Asian Presence and
Commitment During the past few months, major sales have taken
place in locations spanning from New Zealand to Australia,
Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
Recent certification of SmartStream in Korea reflects the
company's continuing investment in product capabilities specific
to Asian needs.

Bank Danamon of Indonesia is a prime example of a customer whose
choice of SmartStream validates both the regional and the global
dimensions of the Geac offering. With 750 regional offices,
branches and sub-branches, Bank Danamon is the second largest
private bank in Indonesia. Beginning with a local pilot, Bank
Danamon's implementation of SmartStream is expected to roll out
worldwide, including locations as diverse as Indonesia, Singapore,
Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. Selection of SmartStream by the
Royal Australian Air Force (Logistics Command) followed an
extensive evaluation process and a successful pilot of the
applications. During the next several months, SmartStream will be
rolled out to approximately 380 users in RAAF sites
Australia-wide. "Our objective is to plan and control our current
and future expenditure, and we believe that Geac SmartStream will
help us to achieve this," said Keith McLean, director of Finance
for the RAAF Logistics Command.

International Broadcasting Company (IBC) of Thailand's recent
decision to purchase a full suite of SmartStream Financials
further reflects Geac's reputation for customer satisfaction.
IBC is a joint venture consortium of four companies, which include
an existing SmartStream customer, MIH BVI Ltd. of South Africa.
This parent company's endorsement together with Geac's global
presence helped open the door for IBC's selection of a SmartStream
solution.
