You are like an ostrich with your head buried in the sand. I bolded the level of withdrawl that is being contemplated for now. KNowing how Bush operates, soon there will be withdrawls without the public being told similar to his clandestine surveillance of Americans.

Another excerpt from the NYT news item and I quote:
Nouri al-Maliki’s much-anticipated plan lacked important details, but issued specific instructions to Iraqi security forces to rapidly take control of the country so U.S. and other foreign troops can leave eventually. It didn’t include a deadline for their withdrawal.

There is no specific plan but however the Iraqi security forces have been issued "specific" instructions to "rapidly" take control. What does the term rapidly indicate to any common reader. I can see you pouncing on the lines about no specific date. And that is exactly my point. The terms "rapidly" etc. does tell an intelligent American how stupid their President is.

Being stupid is ridiculous, but to support the stupidity is even worse.
