Hmmm...I noticed my "Ignored by" count went up by one today...are you sure you did not mistake me with Hawk?

For many years, I only put people with foul mouth on ignore. The list capped at about 3. About a year ago I started to put frequent one-liner-clowns on ignore too. Then a few weeks ago I caught myself putting someone on ignore who was neither of the two by imo had no significant contribution. I realized that I would not have put the same "idiot" on ignore if he'd been my kind of idiot <g> so I took him off and re-evaluated my ignore list. I don't want to create a reading list that mostly confirms my own world view.

I have no idea what you are talking about here. People who are on my ignore list do not even show up in my mailbox if they post to me. As I look at the posts, I do not see the "Ignored message" you are talking about. Sometimes I notice there is an ignored post somewhere because I see a jump in post counts, but that is about it.
