It's worth asking the 'shoe on the other foot' question in this case: Do you think the NYT would have published the Swift story if there was a Democrat in the White House?

If your answer is 'no', then Powerline has a good point when he says that the NYT is in effect operating an extortion scheme: you must elect a Democrat to keep us from blabbing national secrets.
