Where do moderates turn? Democrats have Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Kennedy, Kerry, Bird, etc. Republicans have Jerry Lewis, Ted Stevens, Lincoln Chaffe, John McCain, etc. It is nice to find some more common ground. "what the people of this country want now and more so every day is COMPETENCE." Our current political climate does not seem to promote the raising of the competent to high office.
