Once again we have people basing arguments on the symantecs of a liar. Remember that The husband of the CIA deskjockey, Joe wilson, gave a brief oral report in which he stated that Iraq had sought yellowcake from Niger. This was after he went to Niger and told them that the US frowned on Uranium sales to Iraq, but please tell me about their Uranium interests adn transactions. He later famously claimed that the President said that Iraq had bought yellowcake from Niger.

Notice the difference between sought and bought? It appears you will require this:

" don't disagree that Murtha's kinda goofy, but you called him a straight-up LIAR and I don't think you'd do that to a goofy VET that was promoting your POV."

What do you call a person who makes mistatements to bolster his political standing in a narrow political arena? When he should know that his statements are false?

Perhaps you are correct, he may not be a liar, only senile.

"If the stuff about WMD's, Al Quaeda training camps and meetings in Romania is so ubiquitous...:

Only those with their heads in the sand think there were no WMDs in Iraq. The records were released over a year ago about the Al Quaeda training camps.

Yawn:
