See my May 12th article on this here investment.suite101.com I'll see if I can make the graphs I reference work here Note the direct relationship between oil prices, CPI AND Core CPI. I used to be able to scale the two charts on SUite101 so they lined up properly so you could easily see the nearly 1:1 relationship. Even so, the above CLEARLY shows bottoms in oil prices match bottoms in CPI... and likewise with tops. QED Bottom line is Brinker's ideas on inflation don't match the facts. The entertainment factor is how he will try to twist out of admitting he didn't know what he was ranting about on many shows while he attacked the Fed as being clueless. Kirk
