To make fun of, and to poo poo events like this and what took place in Miami as innocuous, seems a little disingenuous to me.

Perhaps you've misread me a little, too. I'm not poo pooing (that'll never get past spellcheck) them. I thought I made that clear but perhaps not. What I'm doing is contrasting their level of importance with the claims made for them. That is not to say that they have no importance, only that the importance was exaggerated to the point where it was laughable.

Gonzales really was a stitch when he made his statement about routing out some guys who conspired to support AQ. And then when he spoke of "full ground war" he said "full (pause) ground (pause) war" instead of "full ground-war" which made it seem like he was reading something he had never seen before or he didn't know what a ground war was. The intonation gave the impression that the war was fully ground, like coffee beans. I thought he looked silly and I laughed. None of that suggests that cells like this or old chemical armaments are harmless.
