Indeed. But if the story of the seventh is classified, that matters.

It seems to me that the default for classified information always has to be not to publish. The onus is on those who want to publish to justify it. If it's another incident just like the other incidents, then IMO you don't publish. If there is something special about it that makes it newsworthy as more than just the seventh in a continuing series, then maybe you do. I'm not finding that specialness.

Perhaps you and I just have different defaults. Mine is to not publish classified material. I don't have a particularly high standard for moving away from that default, but there has to be something different about it that is newsworthy. The difference, not just the incident, has to be newsworthy to take the incremental risk.
