Patron, from Heinz: well, the truth is , i ALSO like to read Kuenstler, but i'm put off by the implicit demands for intervention. his colorful language is one of the reasons i like to read him now and then, but the totally apocalyptic vision is also a bit off-putting. imo if we're fated to go under due to peak oil (imo geological arguments for peak oil are very persuasive), then we should go under with dignity, and not under the jackboots of a police state. otoh, it seems far more likely to me that the market will come up with solutions to the problem. if we let it work, that is.
