Henry, As I've stated before I am VERY BULLISH on Ligand. I must relate however I look at reccs buy Investment bankers on the sell side of an equity with a juandiced eye. Has H&Q been involved in any (or all) of Ligands offerings?? Againg I'm very positive on our little puppy based on your reviews of their technology platform (so broadly based the # of possible pharmaceuticals and populations((diseases that may be treated)) is nearly inexhaustable) as well as the track record of company management. Recently Cephalon was agressively touted by their Investment banker and then-----Yikes- Myotrophin 6 to 3 --a loser not even resurrected by the tears of those with ALS before congress( and i do feel for these people). Wish we could know more in a timely manner about the buy side analysts but price should reveal this in time. Ligand is not my only biotech holding but it is my largest---so dont take any of the above as a negative. Thanks again for spearheading this thread. Steve
