We shouldnt always determine that they are on the wrong side as in iran. Putin has balls and though the russians have been both clumsy and overly brutal at times, they are on our side.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to have some additional international support in destroying these terrorist networks in Iraq.

I'm still confused about the stupidity of these terrorists in going after Russians. It's not like they don't already have enough problems already without making another major enemy.

The question is whether the Iraqis will permit Russian intelligence or spetnatz to work in Iraq, or whether our forces will provide cooperation and support.

I would think we would, if only as a political gesture.
