One effect of global warming is the increased precipitation in some areas, and droughts in others. This could result in floods some places and forest fires or famines in others.

Just as ironically, global warming is melting so many glaciers and icebergs it's cooling the polar oceans and the warm currents that flow northward from Africa and keep the north country relatively temperate. Those warmer ocean temperatures also sustain vast amounts of sea life and nutrients.

Time to stop defending polluters and getting serious about looking at cleaner, greener much more sustainable energy sources going forward. The evidence is in, despite Exxon's multi-million dollar propaganda operation which seeks to blur the truth and poo-poo science.
