Nope. To me the issues of environmental quality and conservation of energy should be apolitical.

I think that most of the American people, regardless of political affiliation, are for cleaner air, cleaner water and saving energy.

The Bush administration has no plans for any of the above. In fact they have cut back on environmental protections, and have made a huge investment of American blood and treasure in an attempt to secure mideast oil.

I simply note that moves towards reducing greenhouse gasses and pollution, which some say would help against global warming, also have huge benefits to our nation in terms of a better environment and drive us towards renewable energy and energy independence.

The goals of the "folks that believe global warming is due to man" are completely congruent with the goals of everyone in America and should be embraced. They can be embraced by all, but not necessarily for the same reasons.
