Ex-CIA agents recently stated they told the White House 6 months before the invasion that Saddam had no WMD (except maybe a few old Mustard gas shells leftover from the 80's), no nuclear program and no connections with Al Qaida.

The CIA was told to shut up about that. Cheney was the pointman in the administration's crusade to tltally lie to the American people, our military, the UN and congress in order to mislead us into a quagmire war which had nothing to do with The War On Terror and has made us weaker and less safe.
