"more cultural", a term that trumps all others in a regressive mind, even in this case, possible extinction of a species.... :(

Just like religion, tradition, etc. other hallmarks of the regressives, conservatives, or whatever you want to call them, they do not want to change, EVEN if the situation changes and their "culture, tradition, etc" gets in the way of something.. So eventually THEY will become extinct too.. LOL..

They won't even be able to adopt to global warming..

They will still be sitting on the beach..

Where it used to be.. LOL..
