Hi shades, I see you posted the link on the "flat earth" theory before I did. Here are some more links on it that may be of interest. It's a clear example how few rules there are in any scientific debate. Propaganda, showmanship and the art of using popular ideas to convince people, are just as important as any recorded data. Over considerable time periods it's amazing how one theory can gain over another using such means.
