FYI, 5 MW Solar PV Project to happen in 1998

Saw this in the Albuquerque Journal yesterday, Public Service of
NM received PUC approval to built a 100 MW turbine "peaking"
unit, plant to run maybe 500 hours per year to handle peak AC
loads. The weird part is PUC stipulated they must also built a
5 MW PV plant, should be underway in 1998. 5 MW PV is on the
order of 25 to 35 Million $ project.
