My link was to an online article posted on Physorg.com: Space and Earth science : June 27, 2006 First Compilation of Tropical Ice Cores Shows Abrupt Global Climate Shift physorg.com (Which reported on the solid evidence noting that the Earth experienced a very sharp cool-down a little greater then 5,000 years ago... and a very sharp warm-up over the most recent 50 years.) No direct connection to some 'beauty contest' run by Associated Press, reporting on the opinions of a small sample of climatologists who have been able to see Gore's movie.
