BlueLinx represents 750 vendors. Having worked for a major computer distributor, my concern would be that Plasticon wouldn't get the mind share (or possibly even any notice at all) from a BlueLinx booth at this trade show. BlueLinx has a huge vested interest in devoting booth space to their lines of cellulosic lumber.

By JT having his own booth, he could demonstrate the properties of plastic lumber, to the point of bringing over doubters and loyalists to virgin board. The company I work for now grew their tiny business exclusively from trade shows and word of mouth in the industry.
