Hyun, nice research, my friend.

You have cleared all of my questions on LS-120
except the first one came to my mind. Why the
hell is Compaq, a well-managed company, behind
this thing?

We all know removable drive is like Razor and
their disks are a little different from razor
blades: the disks do not wear off and they need
to be exchangable. Hence, I don't see two drives
existing in the future. Given the current situation,
Zip is going to thrive.

Again, what's Compaq's rationale of backing LS-120
while nine others already signed up for Zip OEM?
Are they really that confident?

take care.

Michael
