<<So. What sort of toilet paper was it?

I see why we get along. You suffer from the same unbridled and insatiable thirst for true knowledge that I do. We seem to be the only people here with any artistic curiosity at all. No one else has even commented on this important work of art, whose concept must have emerged from the mind of a man deeply in touch with his inner self. Ah well, I can only throw my pearls before the thread. It is up to the individual to pick them up and examine them for the meaning and beauty inherent therein.
The paper was white. I scrutinized it carefully. However, because the image was fuzzy, it could have had those little flower shapes imprinted on it. Perhaps he blurred the image to force you to imagine what might be impressed upon that blank surface-a commodal tabula rasa. Or maybe he accidentally jiggled when he pressed the little button. That happens to a lot of my pictures. And sometimes I forget whether there's film in the camera and I open the back to see. We have a lot of pictures of France and Germany and Greece that all look alike-vague outlines of buildings with big bright spots all over them.
I wonder if the Metropolitan would be interested in an exhibition of my work?
