Which is why I wouldn't entertain such a thought,... Which thought wouldn't you entertain? It wouldn't hurt understanding at all to use nouns once in awhile instead of only pronouns or oblique references. Your sentence structure indicates that you just rejected the post you just issued. Lets compare two hypothesis. 1) the moon is made of rocks 2) the moon is made of green cheese. I maintain that the first hypothesis has much more supporting evidence than the second. There are of course subtleties and variations such as what kind of cheese and what color of rocks, but the bulk of the evidence still favors the first hypothesis. So it is with natural selection and it's variations. Yes, there are alternate hypothesis, but none has the weight of theory. TP
